Summer Reading Program 2018 Schedule

04/2/2018 9:59:00 AM

Words are very precious to a verse, book, and to the person.  When someone you care very deeply about is hurting you sometimes cannot find the words to express your deepest sorrow.  When someone you love has moved your heart, words are hard to find.  Sometimes “Thank You” is all someone can say when others have done something to comfort, love, or to help you.  THANK YOU is what the Friends of the Library would like to say to all the people who have worked, shared, donated and/or helped with the Spring Tea and auctions.  Over $4000.00 was made.  This community has shown amazing support at this event …and thank you just seems to be the most perfect words.

Building Update 2018!!!!

03/21/2018 1:40:00 AM

The Wellsville City Library Building Fund has been steadily “building”.  The library, along with help from the Friends of the Library,  has approximately $336,300.00  The goal for the new addition and renovations has been estimated at $509,000.00.  This leaves about $173,000.00 still left to raise.

Our library has never before used city taxes to purchase a building.  It has always been done through memorials and  donations.  We would like to complete this project solely from donations.  However,  we are also beginning to look at grants to help us reach our goal.

Contact us if you are interested in making a donation to the Wellsville City Library Building Fund.

Let’s just build it, build it, build it!
