The Ultimate Gift.

05/12/2019 11:14:00 AM

The Wellsville City Library would like to share with the community our progress on our building addition and renovation.  The library received a gift of stock that fluctuates that makes it hard to give exact amounts on how much money we have raised.   The current funds (as of April 30th) including stocks and the funds the Friends of the Library have allocated is $399,200.00.  The current estimated goal is $589,950.00.  This leaves us with approximately $190,750.00 left to raise. This amount does not include the cost of any building cost increases for the current year. The ultimate goal is to have the full amount raised before the project starts.  Any gifts or contributions can be made to the Wellsville City Library or the Friends of the Library and be designated for the building fund.  Your gift can be a tribute,  a memorial, in honor of, or just a standard gift.  Contributing gifts over $100 can have a name plate engraved on the  plaque that is currently located in the front foyer.  It will be mounted in the new addition when the project is completed.  This community is growing and expanding.  We look forward  to meeting the future needs of Wellsville and it’s surrounding area.
