The Friends of the Library Foundation is sponsoring the annual Miss Sweet 16 Contest again.
The contestants are in alphabetical order:
Lainey Farley, daughter of James & Marcie Farley. She is active in volleyball, softball, & wrestling.
Stephanie Hackathorn, daughter of Roger & Jonna Cook and Steve Hackathorn. She is in FBLA & Book Club.
Sarah Hanson, daughter of Andrew & Emily Hanson. Sarah is in choir, dance team, and track at school. She is also active in ballet, American Heritage Girls-Troop KS0252, and youth group.
Lola Kline is the daughter of Vernon & Kandice Kline. Scholars bowl, yearbook, Book Club, drama club, Eagle Lift Off Mentor, National Honor Society, STUCO (Secretary), FBLA (Editor) are her school activities. She is a volunteer for the summer reading program at the Wellsville City Library, Food Pantry, and Vacation Bible School.
Hannah O’Connor, daughter of Charlie O’Connor and the late Gena O’Connor. Hannah has volunteered at the nursing home, the Wellsville City Library, the Snack Shack, concession stand, and the school’s cafeteria. She is active in Unified Basketball 2020, Unified bowling 2021, Job Olympics at JCCC in 2022, and the high school choir.
Rachel Pio is active in basketball and track. She is active in 4-H, and volunteered at the Wellsville City Library’s summer reading program. Her parents are Jason & Lisa Pio.
Simone Sanchez, is the daughter of Eddie & Heather Sanchez. Heather participates in FBLA, Wellsville Dance Team, and softball.
Jaicey Swan is the daughter of Justin & Amanda Findlay. She is active in her church’s youth group and outreach program. She plays the piano, enjoys gardening and hiking.
Loren Turner, daughter of Christie Bauer & Jared Turner. She has volunteered at the library and is a part of the Rock Creek School House community. She babysits for local families and is active in school with basketball, FFA & the Wellsville High School Shooting team. (Wellsville Clays)
Josie Zeck is active in volleyball, softball, yearbook and Midwest Juniors-volleyball. She house sits and is a dog sitter. She is the daughter of Josh & Jessica Zeck.
You can vote for your favorite contestant online at www.wellsvillelibrary.org, donate tab, donate button and list the contestant’s name in the comment portion. You can also vote at the library during regular hours. Voting ends at 3:00 pm on September 24, 2022.
